This book is one of the required readings for one of the courses that I am currently taking. That being said, I feel that this book is a good read that gives a lot of insight on the benefits and some of the process of the doula profession. I especially liked the fact that it referenced other research studies. This not only helped support it's views, it kept me engaged and curious to delve even further into the subject matter by additionally searching for more qualified books on the topic.

Wissenschaftlich aktuell und praktisch gestaltet durch viele Beispiele und Veranschaulichungen. Auch das Englisch empfand ich nicht als Hürde. Im Gegenteil. Ein Muss bei der Doula-Ausbildung!
