Having to let my wife's cats in and out of the house multiple times a day makes me wonder why we don't eat cats.

There are many appealing things about this door, and this is my 2nd catmate door, But I would NOT recommend.

I really wish there was a way to turn off the 'selective' part of this, it works great as a timer but the reader is not powerful enough to pick up the cats microchip every time.
